This is not a time to be careless...
I am reading on Heaven and Hell this summer. Something we have often neglected in the church. Theology is vital to our faith. And this is no exception. Trying to bring greater understanding and knowledge in this area is crucial and the timing couldn't be more appropriate. There has been so much accusation and mis-understanding by the church and the culture about this subject lately. Eternity must drive our thinking right now so that we can speak into this issue with truth AND love.
After checking just recently on this topic, there were hundreds of youtube, vimeo, and media talks and interviews on this. If we do not get to a simple communication of the truth asap, the church will lose a moment.
We see these two topics treated so carelessly in pop culture (movies, music, and even the religious area). Aside from Rob Bell's book (Love Wins), here is another take on this important subject. More to come...
